EACHA

STET is an active member of EACHA contributing to the evolution of the European payments landscape and has played an active role in the promotion and roll-out of SEPA.

EACHA is a not-for-profit organisation and the technical cooperation forum for European ACHs whose philosophy is that healthy competition also means cooperative teamwork.

The European Automated Clearing House Association (EACHA) started in 1990 as an informal meeting forum for European ACHs and was formally founded in September 2006 under the Chairmanship of STET. Today it comprises of 23 members from 21 different countries.

EACHA has developed an Interoperability Framework enabling to standardise the additional technical layer and operational procedures necessary to achieve interoperability between CSMs and banks for SEPA payments.

The EACHA Interoperability model consists on a number of elements to ensure the timely, efficient and secure exchange of payments between Payment Services Providers (PSPs) participating in different CSMs.

The procedures include risk mitigation to minimise settlement, credit and liquidity risk for the participating PSPs.
The interoperability framework adopted by the 22 EACHA members is available on www.eacha.org
